The following privacy policy sets out the information required by the GDPR. This English version is aimed to ensure the rights of no-Italian speakers data subjects, requested by Chapter III of GDPR.

This Privacy Policy lets you know when and how SCALIGERA PACKAGING S.R.L (“we”/”us”/”our”) uses, collects, discloses or processes your personal information when you use our products and services.

In case of contrast of this text with the Italian version, the Italian version will prevail.

  1. Purposes and legal basis for the processing of your personal information

a. IP adress

When visiting our Website, we collect and store the IP address assigned to your computer in order to provide you with the contents of our Website requested by you (e.g. texts, images and product information). The legal basis insofar is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR. We furthermore collect that information for the detection and defense of misuse which is justified by our legitimate interest according Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR and is being conducted in order to ensure the proper functioning of our Website. Furthermore, we collect and process information about the browser type you use as well as date and time of access and use of our Website based on Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR to optimize our Website and our services which also is our legitimate interest in the meaning of Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. This information is stored in log files and is not linked to personal information gathered elsewhere on the Website. You are contractually required to provide us with such information and we are not able to provide our services to you without such data.

According to your prior and express consent (6.1.a. GDPR) or contractual necessity (6.1.b GDPR), we might process more personal data that you disclose in order to offer specific services to you (commercial offers, technical assistance, work up a quote, etc…). Right to restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR): You have the right to request us to restrict the processing of your personal information under certain circumstances, e.g. if you think that the personal information we process about you is incorrect or unlawful.

Right to object (Art. 21 GDPR): You have the right to object to the processing of your personal information under certain circumstances, in particular if we process your personal information on the legal basis of legitimate interest (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR) or if we use your personal information for marketing purposes.

Right to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR): Under certain circumstances, you have the right to receive your personal information you have provided us with, in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format and you have the right to transmit that information to another controller without hindrance or ask us to do so.

Where the processing is based on point (a) of Article 6(1), the existence of the right to withdraw consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.

We don’t use your personal information for automated decision-making, including profiling.

  1. Right to lodge a complaint before the data protection authority

We inform you the Scaligera Packaging is naturally subject of the Italian supervisory authority “Garante per la protezione dei dati personali”. By the way, you have also the right to lodge a complaint with another european supervisory authority related to your habitual residence, place of work or place of the alleged infringement, if you consider that our processing of your information infringes the GDPR.

This privacy policy might be amended or updated from time to time to reflect changes in our practices with respect to the Processing of Personal Data, or changes in applicable law.
